Are you recovering from trauma and need a way to stop thinking about the pain? Are you an arts partner at your elementary or high school? Are you interested in taking a drop-in class so you can learn how to shape clay or blow glass?
Firebird Community Arts and our signature Project FIRE program is here to help. We can provide in-house classes at our East Garfield Park studio located on Lake Street in Chicago or we can travel to you. Please note that in-house classes that include working with fire are generally designed for ages 10 and up.
Firebird Community Arts provides programming to schools, community centers, individuals and families. We are located at 2651 W. Lake Street, Chicago IL.
Paying for art class is a form of self-care for you that simultaneously supports the operation of Firebird Community Arts for all.
What About Cost?
Most of our mission-based programs are completely free to participants. Some classes are heavily-subsidized, and some come with a sliding scale or fair market fee.

Corporate and Community Art + Teambuilding
Firebird Community Arts provides free or low-cost arts education and access to an art studio to the community, individuals and corporations. Individuals and corporations who pay for private workshops are contributing to the mission-driven work of healing Chicago through art. With your help, we keep art in the community.
